Woods – Hedge

Announcement is made of the engagement and forthcoming marriage of Rebekah Nicole Woods and Michael Paul Hedge.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Eddie and Joy Woods, 192 Panhandle Road, Elizabethton. She is the granddaughter of Brenda Taylor, 183 Panhandle Road, Elizabethton, and the late Roy H. Taylor, and Betty Woods, 1434 Bristol Highway, Elizabethton, and the late J.B. Woods.

Rebekah is a graduate of Unaka High School.

Her fiancé is the son of Russell and Melissa Hedge, 485 Minton Hollow Road, Elizabethton. He is the grandson of Lawrence and Jenney Hedge, 125 Price Road, Elizabethton, and Powell and Gloria Ellis, 708 W. D St., Elizabethton.

Michael is a graduate of Elizabethton High School.

The couple plan an open-church wedding on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Valley Forge Freewill Baptist Church.
