The bride is the daughter of Mark and Traci Potter. She is a 2011 graduate of Hampton High School and is now attending Northeast State Community College to become a registered nurse.
The groom is the son of Jolynn and Ronald Covington. He is a 2006 graduate of Hampton High School and a graduate of Northeast State Community College with a degree in criminal justice. He is currently serving in Afghanistan.
After a honeymoon in El Paso, Texas, the couple will reside in Elizabethton.
