Brittney Lee Eggers and Brandon Paul Maye were united in marriage during a double-ring, private ceremony on the beach in Cocoa Beach, Fla., on Sunday, June 2, 2013, at 10 a.m. Bob New officiated the exchanging of vows.
The bride is the daughter of Kim and Sharon Eggers, Elizabethton. She is the granddaughter of the late Sandra Smith and the late Bob and Henrietta Eggers.
The groom is the godson of John Nave, Elizabethton. He is the grandson of Peggy Maye, Bristol, and the late John Maye, and Carolyn Stubblefield, Elizabethton.
Music for the ceremony included “God Blessed the Broken Road” and “When God Made You.”
Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attired in an A-line gown of white satin featuring embroidered lace cap sleeves and a chiffon split front overlay with metallic embroidery.
She wore a headpiece of beaded appliques from her mother’s wedding veil.
Her bridal bouquet consisted of pink lilies with twine accents.
Sharon Eggers attended her daughter as matron of honor. She wore a taupe lace and sequin dress fashioned with a tiered skirt and a cap-sleeved lace bodice.
Kim Eggers, father of the bride, served the groom as best man.
Following a cruise in the Bahamas, the couple are residing in Elizabethton.
A reception was held at the Roan Mountain Conference Center on June 21.
