Shannon Nicole Buck and Justin Brent Banner were united in marriage during a double-ring ceremony at Harvest Acres Farm, Limestone, on Saturday, July 14, 2012, at 6 p.m. Ernie Depew officiated the exchange of vows.
The bride is the daughter of Patti and Keith Buck, Johnson City. She is the granddaughter of Ardith and Herbert Curde and Barbara Buck and the late David F. Buck.
The groom is the son of Kim and David Heaton.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents. She arrived at the ceremony site by horse and carriage and was escorted by her father. She wore a lace fit-and-flare gown with pearl beading along the bodice and back with a side split tulle inset. The lace-up back featured a chapel train.
Her bouquet consisted of fresh garden roses in white, lisianthus in creme, green coffee berries, Queen Anne’s lace and baby’s breath covered in vineyard pitt, hand tied and wrapped with burlap and twine. Her hair was tucked into her left ear with curls, pinned with a pearl clip and a flowing tulle veil.
Alison McKinney was maid of honor. She wore an ivory, black and hot pink strapless babydoll gown and hot pink and black Ariat cowgirl boots to match.
Samantha Jensen and Brandi Morrell, cousin of the bride, were attired identically to the honor attendant.
Flower girl was Jayci Bowers. She carried a galvanized bucket with burlap and button collar, with a large hot pink gerber daisy in front.
Joshua Sweeney, serving as ring bearer, carried a burlap pillow.
Chris Stewart served the groom as best man.
Ushers were Cody Buck, brother of the bride, and Sam Potter, cousin of the groom.
A reception was held immediately following the ceremony at the Harvest Acres Barn.
The couple are residing in Limestone.
Prior to the couple’s wedding, a bridal dinner was given by the bride’s aunt, Mikki Morrell, at her lake house on Boone Lake.
A bridal shower was hosted by family and friends at the Meredith Valley Farmhouse.
A bridal shower was hosted by Kim Heaton, mother of the groom, at Fork Mountain Freewill Baptist Church.
