Keri Lyn Austin and Bo Lyons were united in marriage during an outdoor ceremony at The Barn at Boone Falls on Saturday, April 13, 2013, at 3:30 p.m. Dr. Dennis Hamm officiated the double-ring rites.
The bride is the daughter of J. Dwain and Mary Austin, Johnson City. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Perkins and the late Mr. and Mrs. John R. Austin.
The groom is the son of Roger Lyons, Hampton, and the late Della Mae Davenport. He is the grandson of the late Roy Butler and the late Elizabeth Jenkins.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Melissa Clouse and Matthew Furches, vocalists.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a simple, Southern asymmetrical, V-neck floor-length ivory satin gown accented with crystals and pearls along the shoulders. The bust line was accented by a chocolate brown sash adorned with sequins and crystals and was attached at the bust with one of the bride’s great-grandmother’s antique crystal and pearl brooches.
She carried a bouquet of dried flowers.
Amy Austin, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. She wore a long chiffon and charmeuse dress in malibu blue.
Selina Stout was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kathy Clifton, Samantha York and Tracy Grindstaff. They were attired in strapless, knee-length dresses of malibu blue chiffon.
Johnny Jarrett served the groom as best man.
Ushers were Leo Payne, Chris Brewer and Matthew Furches.
