Danielle Vines was the No. 4 seed going into the Tennessee State Tennis qualifier in girls 18 singles, but she had proven she was more than just a dangerous floater in the past.
After the tournament, everyone knew who the best junior player in the state was.
The Elizabethton native and resident, who also won in girls 16 doubles with Claire Sullivan from Memphis, took home Tennessee biggest prize by winning the 18s with a 6-3, 6-1 victory in the championship match in Chattanooga Tuesday afternoon.
