KINGSPORT — Unaka’s football team had absorbed a pair of severe beatings in recent weeks, and found themselves down two touchdowns to open the second half on Friday night.
But this was the Rangers’ evening, with a do-or-die approach at Don “Log” Martin Field. Unaka rallied to knock off Tri-Cities Christian 40-32.
“Tremendous,” Unaka coach Steve McKinney said. “Andy Guinn, Austin Anderson, Eli, and the offensive line come off the football opening holes for us. All of those guys up front, heck, I was proud of them.”
