Twins drop pair to Burlington

In a rematch from the Appalachian League championship series of a year ago, the Burlington Royals held the upper hand on Monday night at Joe O’Brien Field.
The Royals swept the defendng champion and West Division-leading Elizabethton Twins by scores of 4-1 and 2-0 in the rookie-league baseball doubleheader.
Elizabethton’s Randy Rosario hurled five innings. He was touched for three hits, gave up an earned run, walked two and struck out five.
