There are 518 students enrolled at the Tennessee Technology Center at Elizabethton for the fall trimester, breaking the previous record of 415 students set in the fall of 2006, according to Mike Cole, student services coordinator.
Included are 335 students taking full-time training programs that meet 30 hours per week; 108 students enrolled in part-time programs offered in the evening; 51 students enrolled in online training programs; and 24 high school students enrolled in Dual Enrollment courses.
The registration fee to attend TTC-Elizabethton full-time is approximately $1,000 per trimester. For students who qualify, approximately $1,850 is available from the Federal Pell Grant and $667 from the Tennessee Lottery each trimester.
TTC-Elizabethton has a program completion rate of 88 percent, job placement rated of 86 percent and licensure pass rate of 96 percent on the Tennessee Board of Nursing exam.
