Three Rivers baseball title might be up for grabs

Regardless of what anybody says, the Three Rivers Conference could be wide open on the baseball diamond this spring.
From Unicoi County on down to Sullivan North, the league looks to be as competitive from top to bottom as it has been in quite some time.
Leading the way is the Blue Devils, who return a number of upperclassmen from last year’s District 1-AA and Region 1-AA championship squad.
On the other hand, Johnson County hopes to build off of last spring’s postseason magic that saw the program’s first region tournament win.
Elizabethton and Sullivan East look to build off of successful regular-season campaigns one year ago after losing a number of seniors, while Happy Valley and Sullivan North are expecting youth to rise to the occasion.
