Tana Brummitt, upright bass; Paul Brummitt, guitar; Dennis Horton, banjo; and Ben Ellis, fiddle, perform with Alexander Creek. Paul Brummitt will serve as a judge for the upcoming “Carter County’s Got Talent” competition.

The 3 Seasons Community Theatre is looking for some talented Carter County residents to take part in its inaugural “Carter County’s Got Talent” competition.

The show’s organizers — Diane Gardner and Gwendolyn Creek — welcome dancers, musicians, singers and others with a talent to share to participate in the upcoming contest.

“We want this to be a big event, and we’d like it to become an annual happening,” added Creek, who serves as vice president, secretary and historian for 3 Seasons Community Theatre.

Gardner, president of the organization, noted that the contest will select first-place, second-place and third-place winners from the field of competitors.

“The winners will receive a cash prize,” she said.

The only requirement is that all contestants must reside in Carter County.
