TBI seeking vehicle of dead Missouri man

KNOXVILLE — Authorities are still asking for the public’s help in the case of a Missouri man who was found dead in a river near Knoxville.

Tennessee Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Kristin Helm said Monday that the agency has been working leads in the death of 29-year-old Lance Michael Larson of O’Fallon, Mo.

Larson’s body was found Thursday in the Little River near Old Knoxville Highway in Rockford.

Authorities are looking for Larson’s vehicle. It is a tan, four-door 2003 Kia Spectra, with a Missouri registration CF1S9R.

Larson’s last known contact with family was around Feb. 20. Anyone with information about Larson should call the TBI at 1-800-824-3463 or the Blount County Communications Center at 865-983-3620.
