BRISTOL — A supervisor at an orphans’ home in East Tennessee has been charged with failing to report sex abuse involving a former employee and children at the facility.

The Bristol Herald Courier reports 70-year-old Rosa Emma Honeycutt was indicted this week on the count. Police say she was aware of sex encounters between the former employee and three children at the Tri-State Children’s Home but didn’t report them.

It was unclear whether Honeycutt has an attorney.

A grand jury indicted 26-year-old Sonya Pickel in July on charges of rape, failure to report child abuse, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and giving alcohol to minors.
