Student’s birthday wish: Help for Children’s Hospital
A student at Central Elementary School is giving up all the trappings of her birthday — including gifts — to give back to a cause very special to her.

All kids love birthdays, but 12-year-old Loretta Price may have more reason than most to celebrate the yearly anniversary of her birth.
“This year for my birthday, I have decided not to have a traditional birthday party,” Loretta said. “Instead, I am going to have a charity birthday.”
