Stats and stories behind the scenes

They are three men who all have ties to Carter County that have all been journalists at one point or still are, but their greatest accomplishments have been working behind the scenes in college athletics promoting sports.

Michael White, Matt Laws and Gene Renfro are all very successful in what they do in helping get the name out about the college each works for or just making sure everything is running smoothly.

One is a sports information director at a Division I university, one is a small college SID and the other one has done a little bit of everything and now serves as a compliance director.

All three have different roles, but they all do it well.
