The Wetzels were eager to use their marquee to thank the community for participating in Honda’s Project Drive-In contest, which has promised to award them one of nine digital projectors being given away nationwide.

“We’re going to be able to stay open and continue to do what we do up there,” Andy said.
The announcement came just in time for voters to catch the season’s final show this weekend, which will feature “Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters.”

But that won’t be the only show this week: there will also be an extra opportunity to visit the theater.

Honda is sending Stateline Drive-In a 35mm copy of “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2,” which is not being officially released until Friday.
