To the Editor:
This is very unusual for me to do, but Don Tetrick was a very special and unusual gentleman.
He represented what life is really all about. He demonstrated almost every day of his life his desire to give, help, and to care for people in ways most never knew about. He was not about praise, glory or honor, but about true caring and giving. His goal was to make life a little better and simplier.
Mr. Tetrick traveled paths that most have never walked. He learned and taught lessons. Hopefully, we all can learn from him how to share and be a blessing to others.
He spread kindness like sunshine and embraced the hurting. Often, through his kindness he left those grieving encouraged and comforted.
He had a great sense of humor, and he knew the power of laughter.
Mr. Tetrick was a man of convictions. He stood up for what was right and always was courageous and bold.
He loved dearly and truly and gave freely from the heart. He taught that each can make a difference by how they love.
We all are blessed to have known him.
Thanks, Mr. Tetrick, for the impact you had on my life.
