Rangers find relief in 27-0 romp

Homecoming on “the Creek” proved to be a joyous occasion as Unaka earned its first win of the season with a 27-0 whitewashing of Hancock County Friday night.

Junior quarterback Eli Rasnick rushed for 65 yards on eight carries and two touchdowns with a pair of interceptions defensively as the Rangers dominated the Indians at Goddard Field.

In all, the Rangers (1-4, 1-1 Mountain East Conference) forced six turnovers and held the Tribe to 152 yards of total offense.
