Hampton was hoping to get a big win over Unaka, but instead got humbled at home.
The Rangers used a seven-run second inning to knock off the Bulldogs 11-1 in a five-inning affair on the Bulldog’s diamond.
Four base hits and a pocket full of miscues allowed the Rangers to bat around in their big frame. They put it away with a four-run effort in the fourth.
