COSBY — The Unaka Rangers came into Friday night’s matchup with Cosby knowing they had a chance at a potential playoff berth, and they rolled to a 47-0 win over the Eagles at Virgil Ball Stadium.

The TSSAA released playoff brackets Saturday morning and the Rangers just barely snuck into the field as a wild-card (6 seed), but they could be a tough team to handle as they seem to be hitting their stride at just the right time.

Unaka will travel to Midway (3 seed) for its opening-round game, and if they were to win, the Rangers would have to travel to Cloudland for a second-round game.
