Police say man charged with trespassing, burglary

Police say a 19-year-old male entered an Elizabethton apartment through the balcony without permission.

Elizabethton Police Department Patrolman Jon Frazier said officers arrested James Norman Scott III, of Railroad Street, Elizabethton, after they found him hiding in a bathroom.

Frazier said officers had responded to 1293 Bluefield Ave. B2-113, regarding a potential trespasser. Police went to the apartment, but no one came to the door.
