Tim Campbell


Tim Campbell, 45, 135 Howes Lane, Butler, Tenn., passed away Tuesday night, July 9, 2013, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was the son of Charles Campbell of Mountain City, Tenn., and Ruth White Estep of Elizabethton.
Tim loved hunting, fishing and working on vehicles.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Chris Campbell; uncles, Willard Campbell, Dean Campbell and Terry Campbell; and grandparents, Joe and Lela Campbell.
Survivors include his father, Charles Campbell and wife Nancy of Mountain City, Tenn.; his mother, Ruth Estep and husband Jerry of Elizabethton, Tenn.; a daughter, Lori Dotey of Johnson City, Tenn.; two sons, Timothy Campbell, of the home, and Alex Curd of Mountain City, Tenn.; three brothers, Doodle Campbell and Mitchell Campbell, both of Elizabethton, Tenn., and Christopher Campbell of Mountain City, Tenn.; aunt and uncle, Bonnie and Danny Curd; special aunt, Brenda Grindstaff, who he thought of as a mother; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Campbell will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, July 12, in the East Side Memory Chapel of Hux-Lipford Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. Friday, prior to the service. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Timothy Campbell, Alex Curd, Andrew Cole, Doodle Campbell, Bobby Potter and Danny Curd. Honorary pallbearers will be Junior Sweeney and Scotty Wilson. As requested by the family, arrangements for Timothy D. Campbell are in the care of Hux-Lipford Funeral Home, Mountain City, Tenn.
