Patsy Lee Clark, 74, of Elizabethton, passed away Monday, February 25, 2013, at the residence of a granddaughter, Joy Whitehead.
A native of Johnson County, she was a daughter of the late Orville and Edith Isaacs Arnold. She had lived in Elizabethton for the past six years.
Mrs. Clark was a homemaker. She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, R.J. Clark, in 2007; a sister, Joyce Campbell; and a daughter-in-law, Della Arnold.
Survivors include two sons, James Arnold and girlfriend, Linda Nelson, Elizabethton, and Joe Rose Jr. and family, Wilmington, Del.; four grandchildren, Joy Whitehead and husband, Jim, Ken Arnold and Hunter Nelson; three great-grandchildren, David Whitehead and wife India, K.J. Arnold and Della Grace Arnold; one great-great-grandson, Liam Whitehead; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Arlie Mink.
Funeral services for Mrs. Clark will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday, February 28, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Dr. James Richardson officiating. Graveside services and interment will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 1, in the Clark Family Cemetery, Butler. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Friday, will be David Whitehead, Ken Arnold, Teresa McKinney, Rusty McKinney, Cecil Nelson and David Nelson. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to Teresa and Lisa for all their help and support, Amedisys Home Health and Hospice and the nurses at the In Patient Surgical Unit at Sycamore Shoals Hospital. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Friends may also call at the residence of her granddaughter, Joy Whitehead, Elizabethton.
