Kyle Loveless, 80, died Sunday, April 14, 2013, at Ivy Hall Nursing Home after a long illness.
Born in the Gap Creek community of Carter County, he was the son of the late Roscoe and Eliza Loveless.
He was preceded in death by six brothers, seven sisters and one daughter.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, Doris “Kay” Loveless, include a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Ken Gorman of West Chester, Ohio; a brother, Richard Loveless, Elizabethton; a granddaughter and three grandsons.
Mr. Loveless was a member of Pleasant Beach Baptist Church. He was a Korean War Veteran and a retired employee of the Veterans Administration.
Mrs. Loveless would like to extend special thanks to neighbors and friends, Jean and Jim Hawk, Pearl Smith, Teresa and John Fenner, Linda and Anthony Avery, Pat and Bob Oliver, Will Andrews, Pastor Bruce Hendrich and especially Ivy Hall Nursing Home and all employees for the love and excellent care given Mr. Loveless.
Mr. Loveless was a donor of life to the Quillen College of Medicine.
No services or visitation will be held at the present time.
