Kim Loraine Lyons Taylor, Elizabethton, passed away Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at her residence following a brief illness.

Kim was preceded in death by a daughter: Melissa McMahan, Nov. 1, 2009.

She was a Carter County native and a graduate of Elizabethton High School.

Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Terry Taylor; two daughters, Johnnie Russ and Heather Taylor, both of Elizabethton; two grandchildren who resided with her, Alexis Shamblin and Logan Walker; and six other grandchildren, Erica Potter, Terry Potter and Alyssa Taylor all of Elizabethton, Karla McMahan, Danielle McMahan and Emma McMahan all of Roan Mountain; her loving sister, Carol Gladden, and a brother, Richard Lyons, both of Elizabethton.

Also surviving are three nephews, Jon Richard Lyons, Elizabethton, Mark Gladden of Mountain City, and James Gladden, Jonesborough. Great nieces and nephews include Austin Lyons, Ricki Lyons and Keaton Lyons ,all of Elizabethton; Molly Gladden and Monica Gladden, both of Jonesborough; Alex Gladden, Cloe Gladden and Logan Gladden, all of Mountain City.

Graveside Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, in the Blevins Cemetery with Jamie Gladden officiating. Music will be provided by her sister-in-law, Kim Lyons.

Friends and family are welcome to visit at the residence. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 9:50 a.m. Saturday. Condolences may be e-mailed to mfc@chartertn.net.
