Kenneth Thomas Cranfield

Kenneth Thomas Cranfield, 78, of Elizabethton, passed away Friday, August 16, 2013, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital.
A native of Decatur, Tenn., he was a son of the late Ed and Martha Pryor Cranfield. He lived in Beckley, W.Va., for several years before coming to Elizabethton in 2000.
Mr. Cranfield was a retired coal miner. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include his wife, Mae Richardson Cranfield; his children, Joseph Dale Cranfield, Bluff City, Lillian Thomasson, Elizabethton, and Susan Cranfield, Cleveland, Tenn.; a grandson, Shannon Dale Cranfield; three brothers, Kenny, Paul and Oliver Cranfield; and three sisters, Dorothy Swafford, Faye Sneed and Emma Lou Monroe. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
No services are planned at this time.
Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge.
