Jada Nidiffer Sanderlin, 25, of Elizabethton, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2013, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital.
Jada was born in Washington County, but lived her life in Elizabethton. She was of the Baptist Faith.
Jada was preceded in death by a daughter, Kendra Ollis.
Survivors include a daughter, Haley Sanderlin, Elizabethton; her father, Tennie Nidiffer Jr., Elizabethton; her mother, Cathy Lambert, Elizabethton; her step-father, Bobby Reece; two brothers, Shawn Stanley, Elizabethton, and Tim Nidiffer of North Carolina; a sister, Starr Johnson of North Carolina; her maternal grandfather, Edward Greene, Elizabethton; several aunts, Donna, Denell, Rhonda, Mary Jo, Betty J., Charlotte and Katherine; Uncle Larry; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services for Ms. Sanderlin will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday, February 14, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bruce Hendrich and the Rev. Carl Grindstaff officiating. Music will be by “Called Out.” Graveside services and interment will be at 10 a.m. Friday, February 15, in the Greene Family Cemetery, Roan Mountain. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 9 a.m. Friday, will be Larry Absher, Rex Simerly, Shawn Stanley, Brandon Montgomery, Mike Drane and Nathan Holtsclaw. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Friends may visit the family at the mother’s or father’s residence. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 9 a.m. Friday to go to the cemetery. Condolences to the Sanderlin family may be e-mailed to mfc@chartertn.net.
