Gretchen Pierce Miller, 66, of Gray, entered into rest, Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at Johnson City Medical Center.
She was a native of Carter County and a daughter of the late Joseph H. and Creola Oliver Pierce. She was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Miller was a former employee of Citizens Bank, Nuclear Fuel Services and several area restaurants.
Mrs. Miller leaves her husband, Larry E. Miller; two sons, Henry Todd Moreland, Jonesborough, and Travis Glenwood Moreland, Elizabethton; four step-sons, Tony Miller of Texas, Carl Miller of Texas, Brian Miller, Gray, and Ronnie Miller of Ohio; one step-daughter, Charlene Michelle Miller, Hampton; one sister, Cynthia Ensor, Stoney Creek; two brothers, Aaron Pierce and Lawrence Pierce, both of Stoney Creek; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Miller will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 5, at Tetrick Funeral and Cremation Services, Johnson City. Committal services will follow at Washington County Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home and at other times at the home of her son, Todd Moreland, 169 Laurel Ridge Road, Jonesborough, Tenn. 37659. The Rev.
