If using more technology were put to a vote at T.A. Dugger Junior High, it’s likely the ‘i’s would have it.
Students there are reaping the benefits from the donation of more than $30,000 worth of technology items, including
iPads, laptops and more, for the school’s science department.
“There are so many apps,” student Caleb Johnson said. “They can teach you different things. You can use Star Walk to learn about the planets and the stars.”
Caleb is a sixth-grade student in science teacher Shane Callahan’s class. He and his classmates were getting training lessons for the new equipment during class Friday morning, learning how to use the iPads and the different apps for their science lessons.
