McClain, Bulldogs best Indians

SNEEDVILLE — Hancock County could play “Duelin’ Banjos” all they wanted.
Cody McClain and the Hampton Bulldogs were serving up the postseason deliverance, using a complete team effort to key a wire-to-wire, 69-53 Region 1-A quarterfinal road victory Saturday.
“I thought we moved the ball really well,” said Hampton coach Ned Smith. “We took the open look and put it inside-out and shot the ball really well from the outside when the opportunity was there. There was good shot selection tonight.”
