BRISTOL — Katie May was no doubt the MVP on Saturday for Elizabethton’s track and field team.
The junior finished second in the 300-meter hurdles, seventh in the 100 hurdles, seventh in the triple jump and led off the third-place 4×200 relay team in the prestigious Frank Carver Invitational at Tennessee High.
“She just had an all-around phenomenal day,” Elizabethton coach Aaron Wood said. “Her hard work is really paying off for her, which is awesome to finally see.”
