Local man makes solo journey on historic parkway
Some people call it a “wish list.” Others refer to their “bucket list.”
Jeffery Campbell halted his bike ride on the Natchez Trace Parkway to pose for a photo to mark his entrance into the Mississippi portion of the well-known parkway.
For Elizabethton resident Jeffery Campbell, a six-day bicycling trip along the 444-mile Natchez Trace Parkway was another addition to his “accomplishment list.”
“I’m always looking for the next adventure,” he said. “My only goal is to inspire others to do this.”
Campbell completed his latest personal milestone in August, but it was long in the planning stages.
