Desie Gentry, co-owner of Beck Mountain Corn Maze, hopes to tow in a sizeable donation for Relay For Life by hosting a special meet-and-greet session with Lizard Lick Towing’s Bobby Brantley the first weekend in October.

Brantley will appear at the corn maze beginning at noon on Saturday, Oct. 5, until closing and again on Sunday, Oct. 6, from 9 a.m. until approximately noon. A portion of all proceeds will go to the Relay For Life team Ward’s Warriors to benefit the Carter County Relay For Life.

Gentry didn’t win a contest to bring Brantley to the Beck Mountain Corn Maze. Instead, it was Gentry’s persistence on social media.

“I found him on Facebook and I aggravated him until he responded,” Gentry said. “I just got the idea. He has meet-and-greets all the time. I got on his fan page and aggravated the fire out of him until he hollered back at me.”
