LeAnne Blackmore speaker for Women’s Conference

A one-day women’s conference with special guest speaker LeAnne Blackmore will be held on Saturday, Oct. 20, at University Parkway Baptist Church in Johnson City.

The meeting will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The theme will be “Sweet Encouragement.”

The event is sponsored by Holston Baptist Association.

Blackmore is a veteran Bible teacher and sought-after women’s retreat and conference speaker. She currently serves as adviser for the Women’s Ministry team at First Christian Church in Johnson City and leads a weekly Precept Bible study. She and her husband live in Johnson City with their two sons.

Praise and worship will be led by One Accord.
