BLUFF CITY — Johnson County’s “Fountain of Youth” helped shower the Lady Patriots with a loss, and its senior leader had a big hand in opening up the floodgates.
It was “the perfect storm” that produced a 7-2 win for the Lady Longhorns over Sullivan East on Friday at G.B. Pierce Field.
Freshman hurler Brianna Snyder kept the Pats’ bats off-balance throughout the afternoon with her pinpoint control. She scattered nine hits and never walked a batter. Senior Ashley Arnold and freshman shortstop Jamie Jennings would help give her all the cushion needed in the opening inning.
