The Presbyterian College signee blocked Alexis Bowers’ potential game-winning shot with :03 remaining, then grabbed the rebound — allowing the Lady Highlanders to escape with a 39-38 win over Hampton inside of VanHuss-White Gymnasium before a capacity crowd.
The 6-1 Sr. hit the first of two free throws with 25 seconds remaining to put the ’Landers on top. They had trailed by seven to start the fourth quarter.
