Lady Cyclones subdue Rangers

The cold temperature at Elizabethton High School did little to cool off the bats of the Elizabethton Lady Cyclones on Thursday evening as EHS took on Unaka.
The Lady Cyclone bats got cranked up early and late as EHS rapped out eight hits, with four of those going for extra bases, in a 9-1 win over the Lady Rangers.
Emily Dugger got the Cyclones rolling in the last of the first with a one out solo home run to left field off Unaka starter Leslie Colbaugh to stake EHS pitcher Lindsey Cunningham to a 1-0 lead.
