Lady Cyclones drop Greeneville in home meet

4:44 am | November 13, 2013

An area swim rivalry was born Tuesday night between Elizabethton’s Kelsi McKamey and Greeneville’s Katelyn Anguish, and you would not find two better races anywhere than the ones between them.

This time, Anguish took the first individual race between them in the 200-yard IM by about six tenths of a second and then McKamey returned the favor in the 100-yard butterfly by four tenths of a second.

McKamey had the edge in the two relay events, with McKamey teaming up with Sydney Elliott, Ivy Wickizer and Lacey Vines in the 200 relay and 200 freestyle relay, showing the improved depth of the girls team.
