University High is going to let the chips fall into place when it comes to the Watauga Valley Conference regular-season softball championship.
The Lady Jr. Bucs (16-9, WVC 7-1) wrapped their conference schedule on a high note by knocking off the Hampton Lady Bulldogs 21-0 in Bulldog country on Monday evening.
“It’s a good win,” UH skipper Keith Jeffers said. “It’s always good to win games in the conference. We’ve got a lot of our younger players in to get experience. We have a good amount of underclassmen and the experience will be big when the conference tournament comes around.”
