Unaka just took a while to warm up.

After trailing by nine in the early going, the visiting Junior Rangers stormed back to dispose of Central 61-52 in middle school basketball action on Thursday night.

“We didn’t play our game,” Unaka coach Matt Fox said. “We’re an up-tempo hustling team, and actually I don’t think we played it at all. We had some kids step up and hustled individually. We didn’t really hustle as a team.”
