Johnson County regroups, defeats Hampton 21-9

The border-county rivalry kept the same glitz and glamour, and Justin Pardue made his name for the Longhorns’ side of the tradition.

Pardue threw for two touchdowns and Patrick South ran for over 200 yards as Johnson County (2-3) pulled away with the 21-9 decision over Hampton at J.C. Campbell Stadium in non-conference action.

It was Pardue’s second start of the season, with junior quarterback Warren Kerley nursing a shoulder injury.
