Johnson City Woman’s Club plans garage sale

The Johnson City Woman’s Club will hold a super garage sale on Saturday, April 6.

The sale will be held at 212 Shadowood Drive, Johnson City, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The sale will offer items to interest everyone, including toys, tools, clothes, interior decor, jewelry, books and much more. All are invited, but no “Early Bird” arrivals, please.

Proceeds will benefit the homeless children of Johnson City.

The next meeting of the club will take place on Friday, April 12, at the Johnson City Library, 100 Millard St. A coffee will be held at 10:30 a.m., followed by the regular business meeting at 11 a.m. Guest speaker will be quilter and professional appraiser Candace St. Lawrence. She will be introduced by Angela Harris, owner of Fellowship Quilters in Jonesborough.

A catered lunch, at the cost of $12 per person, will be available after the meeting.

The club invites all women to attend and become a part of an organization working to benefit the community in many varied ways. You will also make wonderful new friends and take part in the many fun activities the club offers. For more information, call Jan Paviglio at 328-0311.
