Carter County Sheriff Chris Mathes and his staff will host a meeting Monday, Nov. 26, at 6:30 p.m. at the Carter County Criminal Courtroom for persons or groups interested in conducting religious services for inmates at the Carter County Jail.
Also, anyone interested in conducting special programs such as Narcotics Anonymous or GED and advanced education-type programs are invited to attend the meeting.
“The purpose of the meeting is to establish structured programs that will ultimately change lives. These type of programs will not only be beneficial for the Carter County inmates, but for their families and the community,” Mathes said.
