Improving Warriors beaten by North
3:26 am | February 7, 2013Happy Valley was in the hunt until Sullivan North turned up the “Chase.” The Golden Raiders used a 31-point effort by Chase Arnold to sprint past the Warriors 70-61 inside of Bayless Gymnasium on Wednesday.
The Warriors played lights out in the first half and held a 31-27 lead at the intermission. Coach Chuck Babb complimented his team for their effort.
“I thought we made them earn it,” said Babb about North’s win. “I thought we played hard on the defensive end and defended well. This team has gotten better and the last three games we’ve got efficient. Plus we’ve been shooting it better. We had three guys in double figures and our scoring was balanced.”
