Though he was one of over 1,500 kids roaming the practice fields at the University of Alabama in June, rising T.A. Dugger eighth grader Luke Hyder certainly made an impression on the Crimson Tide coaching staff.
Hyder’s solid showing during the annual four-day Nick Saban Football Camp in June was rewarded with a placement on the All-Saban team and a bevy of praise.
“He was one of my best guys,” Bama offensive line coach Mario Cristobal wrote on Hyder’s report. “He worked hard all week and has a bright future.”
