Sometimes getting a tiger by the tail isn’t a good thing, especially when it turns and bites.
Hunter’s John “Boy” Ramsey took a big bite out of the Junior Rangers, scoring a game-high 25 points to lead the Tigers past Unaka 52-36 on Thursday evening.

The Lady Jr. Rangers scored double figures in each period and got a game-high 19 points from Madison Ensor as Unaka toppled the Lady Tigers, 52-23.

Hunter (8-5 overall) led 11-6 after one period and extended the lead to 24-14 by the break as Ramsey tallied 13 first-half points on a variety of drives to the hoop and little jumpers in the lane.
