Traveling to Murfreesboro to watch the TSSAA state basketball tournament can be a hardship on a lot of fans. Gas, lodging, restaurants, ticket prices and concessions can easily cost a family of four nearly a thousand dollars for the four-day event.
Double that if you plan on attending both the girls’ and boys’ tournaments. Add on a few more bucks it you plan on buying up team memorabilia or game CDs.
For many fans, they must turn to other means to try and keep up with games. And modern technology has helped them do so.
