Highlanders repeat in Trojan Classic

Cloudland won the Trojan Classic played at John Battle on Saturday by romping past Wise Central 75-43. It was the second consecutive year the Highlanders have taken the crown.

They played once again without the services of its leading scorer in Dylan McClellan, who is thought to be almost recovered from a thigh injury. But his absence is adding depth to what was already a deep squad when the season started.

The Highlanders placed five players in double figures, led by Jeffrey Rhinehart’s 17 points. Logan Russell accounted for 15, Devin Whitehead 13, Zac Potter 12 and Taylor Whitehead 11.
