Happy Valley overwhelmed by Sullivan South

Whether Sullivan South’s football team will dominate the Three Rivers Conference remains to be seen, but on Friday night the Rebels weren’t threatened on Warrior Hill.

South, ranked fourth in the state in Class 4A, humbled Happy Valley 41-0. It was the Rebels’ debut in this classification.

“That was a real good football team we played,” Happy Valley coach Larry Shively said. “Hats off to them. They whipped us in every phase.
“They are well-coached, had some good players. If we had our quarterback in there, I’m not sure if that would have mattered.”
