Hampton falls short vs. North Greene

3:19 am | May 8, 2013

Trailing by four runs in the top of the seventh inning with two runners in scoring position, Hampton’s baseball team had a chance to make a final run at North Greene.
Wet weather and poor field conditions took it away.
North Greene, led by a complete-game effort on the mound from ace Tyler Bailey, scored runs when it mattered and prevailed when rain soaked Cannon-Gouge Park and produced a shortened 5-1 outcome in District 1-A baseball tilt Tuesday at Happy Valley.
